We welcome any abstracts for presentations related to workshop topics. Authors should state clearly the program topics the paper is intended. Contributions that highlight interdisciplinary issues are particularly encouraged. About 15 minutes will be assigned for an oral presentation. Poster sessions will be organized during the workshop. Abstracts of no more than 600 words must be submitted by on-line form served in this web site. If the abstract includes special symbols or graphics, the authors should send an email to local organization secretariats, unbssw-ihy2009@kasi.re.kr. The authors should check whether the abstract presented correctly on this web site after abstract submission. All responsibilities for abstracts are under the authors.

Within the limited funds available to the co-sponsors, a number of selected participants from developing countries and countries with economies in transition will be offered financial support by UN/ESA/NASA/JAXA to attend the Workshop. Funded participants will be provided with a round-trip air Ticket between their international airport of departure to Daejeon, Korea, and daily subsistence allowance. Any cost associated with en-route expenses of any changes made to the air ticket must be borne by the participants. The FULLY COMPLETED Application Form should be forwarded through the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to the Office for Outer Space Affairs, United Nations, Vienna International Centre, P.O. Box 500, A-1400 Vienna, Austria, not later than 1 May 2009. Centre for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) was established in 1977 and registered in Trivandrum, Kerala, India as a non-profit scientific society and a research and training centre covering all aspects of Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Physics, Computer and Information Sciences. Since 1977 CMS had executed a large number of research and training projects for various central and State governmental agencies.
 
Constantino Tsallis was born in Athens-Greece in 1943, grew up in Argentina, studied at the prestigious Instituto Balseiro - Bariloche, Argentina, where he received his 6-year degree in physics at the age of twenty two.
